Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Mslahtk, including any data we received from Meta Platforms through the WhatsApp Business Platform. It is provided to comply with applicable privacy laws and with Meta's Platform Terms.

Who this is for

There are two groups of people who can use this page:

  • Mslahtk customers (businesses that hold an account with us): use the steps below to delete your account and all associated business data.
  • End users (individuals who messaged a business on WhatsApp that uses Mslahtk): your conversations are controlled by the business you messaged. We can assist them in deleting your data on request — see the End-User section below.

Option 1 — Delete from inside your Mslahtk account

If you can sign in to your Mslahtk account, this is the fastest path:

  • Sign in at intake.mslahtk.ai/login.
  • Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account.
  • Click "Delete account and data".
  • Confirm the deletion by entering your account email.
  • Once confirmed, we will immediately disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account from Mslahtk, stop all scheduled messages, and begin deletion of your data. Deletion completes within 90 days.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access your account, or if you prefer email, send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address registered on the account, including:

  • The business name on the account.
  • The WhatsApp phone number(s) connected to the account, if any.
  • A short statement that you wish all personal data associated with the account to be deleted.
  • We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where a longer period (up to 90 days) is needed for technical reasons or where retention is required by law.

For end users (people who messaged a business on WhatsApp)

If you are an individual who messaged a business that uses Mslahtk and you want your messages deleted, the business you contacted is the data controller for that conversation. Please contact the business directly first. If they do not respond within a reasonable time, you may email us at [email protected] with:

  • The name or phone number of the business you messaged.
  • The phone number you used to message them.
  • A short statement of your request.
  • We will forward your request to the business and help them act on it. We may need to verify your identity by sending a confirmation message to the WhatsApp number you used.

What gets deleted

When you submit a deletion request through Option 1 or Option 2 above, we delete:

  • Your account profile, business profile, and configuration.
  • WhatsApp message content and media you sent or received through the service.
  • Contact lists and tags maintained inside Mslahtk.
  • Intake-form submissions and dashboard records associated with the account.

What we may keep, and why

We may retain a minimum amount of data after deletion where the law requires it or for legitimate business reasons:

  • Billing and tax records — up to 7 years where required by Israeli tax law.
  • Aggregated and de-identified analytics that cannot be linked back to you.
  • Security logs needed to investigate fraud or abuse — up to 12 months.

Revoking access from Meta

You can also revoke Mslahtk's access to your Meta Business Portfolio at any time:

  • Open business.facebook.com/settings.
  • Go to Business Settings → Integrations → Apps.
  • Find Mslahtk in the list and click Remove.
  • Revoking access on Meta stops new data flowing to Mslahtk but does not by itself delete data we already received. To delete that data, also follow Option 1 or Option 2 above.
